The friendly staff at The Huon Jet and Boatshed Cafe, provide lots of local information and suggestions on what to do while in the area. Picnic grounds, barbecue facilities and a playground are in the river reserve just next door.
Location and Opening Time
Conveniently situated in the heart of the Huon Valley, Huon Jet is easily accessible for families. The Huon Jet departs from the Boatshed Cafe – 44 The Esplanade Huonville, just a short 40-minute drive from Hobart.
Huon Jet and the Boat Shed Cafe are open every day, except for Christmas Day. They are open from 9:00 am to 4:00pm, with operating hours possibly being extended over summer during peak demand. The Jet Boat departures at 10.00am, 12.00pm and 2.00pm daily, while other time slots may become available upon request. Check out their website to view current availability.
